We can easily get caught up in the hustle and bustle of our day-to-day before realizing we haven’t made any time for God. Once you’ve started your morning, and you’ve had your first cup of coffee, or tea; it’s almost natural to just continue onto the next task; chore or fire that needs to be put out. The prayer time or time to offer gratitude can become something that we put on the back burner. While not intentional, it can happen.
Our greatest intention to open our day with a prayer, an affirmation or a talk with God, has shifted to the side of our list, almost a quick post-it note, pinned as a reminder to come back to at some point.
I encourage you to begin to give God thanks and express your gratitude.
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
