During this time of focusing on being thankful and showing gratitude; let’s be intentional about our sacred time. If we set a time that we are going to pray, give thanks and show gratitude – let’s make sure we stick to it.
I believe God is a loving and compassionate God. The way He loves us, is the same way He wants us to show Him love and compassion. We love when we are appreciated for what we’ve done for someone. We are happy when we are complimented. So, I encourage you to do the same for God. Recently, I had a friend share a daily post of what she was grateful for – it struck a cord with me and it was so very simple. Here are a few I’d like to share:
- I’m grateful for long walks in the park
- I’m grateful for dinner with the family
- I’m grateful for my job
- I’m grateful for streaming platforms J
I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.
